Bloodsoaked Insight / Sanguine Morass I love me a cost-reduced card

So, what's the problem with Kaheera

For example, Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge (one of my personal favorite commanders) interacts positively with commander tax by caring about how much mana youve spent to cast it

The final ability is to slot a shield counter onto a creature you control, like the Titan of Industry on a naked board or your Commander

Might I suggest the latter with a deathtouch Commander in Rakdos since just two colors should let you have a bunch of Mountains to pump since first strike is nasty with it, like the commonly played Prosper, Tome-Bound
